At yesterday’s presentation of the market plan for tourist development, where new promotion symbol was presented, it was stated that the new slogan for promotion of Montenegrin tourism would be “The Wild Beauty”.
“Marketing concept presented today is not a ready solution, but proposal. Ministry of tourism and Tourist Organization of Montenegro would await opinions, proposals and suggestions in written form in the next 15 days. After that, the plan would be presented to the Government and passed in October,” said minister of tourism, Predrag Nenezic.
Slogan and new promotion symbol would be accompanied by videos and MAGALOG, magazine that should induce interest in foreign tourists, inform them of possibilities and expectations from Montenegro.
“I expect marketing concept we have created to bring progress to Montenegrin tourism,” said representative of the marketing agency Abzac Communication, Wolfgang Pauch.
He added that advantages of Montenegro were nature, wide range of cultures and a serial of opportunities for adventure.
DEG prepared a plan of development of Montenegro half a year ago, where it stated elite tourism as the main income source.
The plan of development of Velika Plaza in Ulcinj and Bay of Boka Kotorska would be realized till the end of next year.
Marketing strategy of Montenegrin tourism would be aimed at western market, that experts of DEG consider the dominant one, beside local and eastern-European. According to their estimations, the greatest problems of Montenegrin tourism are undeveloped infrastructure, hotel capacities and lack of information on Montenegrin offer among European tour-operators.
The new concept would be aimed at young people willing to discover new things and who care less for hotel comforts, said DEG experts at yesterday’s presentation.
