Construction firm AD (stock company) Gorica will in a year construct 84 flats on Stari aerodrom (part of Podgorica) intended for pensioners in Podgorica, assigned by Pension-invalid Fund in 1993, was announced at the press conference. "Gorica signed the contract with the Fund on construction of flats for pensioners in 1992 for the first time, but the construction was ceased due to the problems the company had. Construction of flats on Stari aaerodrom should be finished in a year and Fund is to give keys to pensioners who were assigned those flat yet in 1993 and 1994", said director of PIF Dusan Lalicevic. He said that first installment will be tomorrow paid to Gorica but the exact amount was not precisely stated. Money for flats has been provided but I cannot sate precisely the amount since there were number of contracts. The amount is not a secret but it is hard to state it precisely since expressed in dinars and DM, and interest rates were accounted on the initiating sum", explained Lalicevic. According to him this year#s budget intended for resolving the housing problems of pensioners amounts to half million DM and it is predicted six flats to be constructed in Bijelo Polje and four on Cetinje. Director of Gorica Sanja Radovic said that this firm would in time predicted construct 900 square meters of housing area on Stari Aaerodrom and that way it would fulfill its remaining obligations.
