No sale in both Montenegrin stock exchanges

No sale in both Montenegrin stock exchanges
Nex Montenegro and Montenegroberza have not made any transaction with securities today, nor any transactions with shares acquired in the mass voucher privatisation. There were no buyers at Montenegroberza for 697 shares emitted by Hypothecate bank from Podgorica at the price of more than 511 EUR, nor for almost 8,600 shares offered by Niksicka banka at the price of 147.25 EUR. Montenegroberza stated that the Central Depositary Agency would do clearing and settling of all transactions that Montenegroberza concludes, in line with the agreement signed by these two institutions today. Director of NEX Montenegro, Mladen Bojanic, said that this stock exchange did not expect any turnover with securities because they estimated that citizens would only "be interested". "Brokers informed us that some citizens signed the agreement with them and several orders for transactions, and after that, broker companies are to check in the Central Depositary Agency whether they are the legal owners of the shares they offer," said Bojanic. He explained that this procedure took one day, which is why NEX Montenegro did not expect any turnover today. He stated that he expected a more intensive turnover of securities as of tomorrow.
