Passenger transporters are tomorrow deciding on strike
Independent trade union of highway traffic is tomorrow to discuss on results of fifteen days action on stopping gray economy in this sphere in Podgorica and after that they will decide if they are to organize general strike. The session that begins at 9 o#clock, will be attended by directors and presidents of trade union organizations of traffic firms and they will be informed on the results of coordinated activities taken on stopping the illegal transport of passengers. This action was taken by Ministry of maritime and traffic and ministry of interior affairs, traffic, financial and work inspections during the last two weeks. President of branch trade union Miodrag Bulatovic said for Mina-business that on the basis of those results representatives of traffic firms would decide if they would go on general strike. At the last session held two weeks ago the trade union decided to join the working group of Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro that would propose to the Government to define by a special act or some other sub-legal act kinds of vehicles that could be used in transport of passengers. Members of the trade union estimated that gray economy was currently most present in sphere of highway traffic and they asked from the competent subjects to inform them until tomorrow on the so-far achieved results in struggle against station-wagon and unregistered taxi passengers transporters on established routes.
