Podgorica (MINA-BUSINESS) - The Montenegrin Interior Ministry spent last year 88.3 million German marks, 61 million marks of which on salaries. The total spending exceeded their budgeted target by 1.23 million German marks. The republican Tourism Ministry spent last year 2.2 million marks, 1.6 million of which was spent on a tourist presentation of Montenegro. The total budget in 2001 stood at 637 million German marks. The Finance Ministry spent more than 161 million marks or 13.5 million more than planned. Education Ministry#s spending was 115 million marks. The Social Welfare Ministry#s spending was 74 million marks, Transport Ministry#s around 10 million, Agriculture Ministry#s 14 million, Justice Ministry#s 20 million and Economy Ministry#s 7.5 million German marks. The Information Secretariat spent 19.2 million marks or three million more than planned.
