Consulting company Barents group would be new foreign advisor of the Government of Montenegro instead of Price Waterhouse Coopers (PWHC) whose contract expires on September 30.
Montena-business published last week the unofficial information on leaving of PWHC and USAID officially confirmed that decision to the employees of the company.
According to the standard procedure of USAID, majority of consultants, foreign and local can keep their jobs, as it was the case when PWHC took over the activities from the Barents group.
According to the standard procedures of USAID the greater number of consultants, local and foreign, could keep their job, just as it was the case when PWHC took over the job from Barents.
PWHC prepared a set of tax and other laws in the field of economy for Montenegrin Government, such as Proposal of the law on small and medium companies, Law on public acquisitions, etc.
Barents Group works in the scope of KPGM Consulting and it offers the support to governments and institutions all over the world in order to implement the transition process more easily. Beside fields of economy and public sector, Barents makes laws in the field of financial sector as well.
