Consulting company Price Waterhouse Coopers (PWHC), expert consultant of Montenegrin Government, which is paid by American USAID would probably not prolong its one-year contract that ends on September 30.
This information has not been officially confirmed, but according to the sources of Montena-business, PWHC would finish its contract and it would be replaced with Barents Group, who had done the same job a year before.
The information has not yet been officially directed to PWHC, but the sources claim that such decision has already been made.
According to the standard procedures of USAID the greater number of consultants, local and foreign, could keep their job, just as it was the case when PWHC took over the job from Barents.
PWHC prepared a set of tax and other laws in the field of economy for Montenegrin Government, such as Proposal of the law on small and medium companies, Law on public acquisitions, etc.
Barents Group works in the scope of KPGM Consulting and it offers the support to governments and institutions all over the world in order to implement the transition process more easily. Beside fields of economy and public sector, Barents makes laws in the field of financial sector as well.
