The Post of Montenegro denied today that prices of PTT services were increased, as the Republic Institution for statistics stated yesterday. The Post stated in its denial that the prices of their services remained unchanged since November 1999, and that from June 1 this year some tariffs were even reduced. It was explained that since April 1999, the Post was in business as an independent company, after the Government’s decision that the incorporated company PTT of Montenegro should be transformed into two independent subjects, Telekom and Post. Since then there was no term ‘PTT services’ but terms ‘postal service’ in competence of the Post and ‘telephone services’ in competence of the Telekom of Montenegro.
