Podgorica (MINA-BUSINESS) – Representatives of six privatisation funds will meet on Wednesday the government#s Privatisation Council, the expert-coordination team and USAID experts, to demand for the conditions to be created for their uninterrupted work, Mina-business learned. The funds sent a letter to these institutions on Monday asking them to review the situation and take steps to overcome problems, saying that their activity had been blocked completely, since the Securities Commission has not adopted a single rule on their activities since February. "Because of the delay in adopting the rules, the funds are not able to comply with legal liabilities," the funds said in their letter. Another problem they faced was a declining confidence of citizens who invested their vouchers in these funds. The funds want the Privatisation Council to assume authority for their work instead of the Securities Commission.
