Privatisation receipts this year around 300 million U.S. dollars
Zagreb (MINA-BUSINESS) – Inflation in Serbia in the first five months this year was 10 percent and will range between 15 and 20 percent for the whole year, compared to 113 percent in 2000, Croatian daily Vijesnik said quoting Serbian deputy finance minister Dejan Popovic as saying. Serbia#s GDP per capita rose in the same period from 877 to 1,181 dollars and average salaries jumped from 47 to 102 euros. Serbia expects to cash in this year around 300 million U.S. dollars from company privatisations. Privatisation would not be possible without recapitalisation, Popovic said.
