Privatization of Riviera before the state prosecutor

Privatization of Riviera before the state prosecutor
At today#s session of Municipal assembly of Budva Members of boards of Socialist People#s party (SNP) announced that they will forward to state prosecutor documentation on "illegal privatization" of hotel-tourist firm "Budvanska riviera". Assembly of Budva refused proposal of SNP to adopt the information on "negative appearances and usurping relations" in the process of privatization of this firm. In documentation proposed by this party it is asked for reinvestigating on sale of certain objects possessed by the municipality of Budva. Members of local assembly of SNP claim that management of the biggest hotel-tourist firm in Montenegro worked to disadvantage of interests of workers stockholders, concerning the fact that objects and land of this company estimated to be 72 million DM, were sold at price of 23 millions. As an example of law violation, member of local assembly (MLA) of SNP Zarko Vojvodic mentioned sale of villa Balkan organized by Budvanska rivijera in 1998 even though that object was property of municipal assembly of Budva. MLA of Democratic party of Socialists (DPS) Ljubo Radjenovic estimated that discussion on privatization of this tourist hotel firm was used by SNP as political presentation. He said that they preserved the base of the firm by selling of out-room-and-board objects and that those objects were sold at public announcements at higher prices then expected. "Value of the objects was estimated in 1991 an dit is logical market price to be lower", said Radjenovic. Three issues of the agenda have not been discussed about at today#s session. Those issues relied to working on urban plan for the region of Slovenska plaza and Sveti Stefan.
