Internet Crna Gora realized profit of 105,000 DEM for the first six months of this year, while the total income was more than 1.2 million DEM. Manager of the sale department, Damir Fetahovic, said for Montena-business that there were 14 full-time employees, six employed by contract and seven students from the Student Organization. He said that at the moment there were about 20,000 users of Internet in Montenegro and that the number continued increasing in the last year. He said that more than 50 companies were connected to Internet through rented line, which had capacity of 64 to 512 kb per second. “More than 300 companies and different organizations present their potentials through web sites,” said Fetahovic. He reminded that Internet Crna Gora was founded in August 1997, and that it began its commercial activities a month later. “If the total population is considered and constant increase in number of users, as well as criteria of access speed, then Internet Crna Gora is one of the greatest providers in Yugoslavia,” said Fetahovic.
