The first operator of the mobile telephony ProMonte GSM celebrated today fifth anniversary of its existence, during which it gained about 150,000 users and employed 200 employees. Takis Degalis, director of the company, said at today#s press conference that past problems with the Government and Telekom were solved and that mutual cooperation was good. Every municipality, that is, 93% of the populated territory of Montenegro can receive the signal of ProMonte. The company began its commercial work on July 10, 1996; three years later it introduced the service of voice mail and SMS, while last year it introduced pre-paid packages. Within the celebration of the fifth anniversary the company is to organize the concert at the Square of Ivan Milutinovic in Podgorica, and Tifa, Makadam, Croatian pop group "Magazin" and other performers would participate in it.
