Podgorica, (Montena-business) – The Tobacco Factory from Podgorica starts to purchase this year’s production of tobacco at higher prices, it is reported by this factory. The purchase of tobacco is starts Monday 26th of November in the factory area from 8 a.m. to 14 p.m. “The purchase prices are increased by 10% in average comparing to last year’s prices. This should influence on raising the production and provide more quality raw materials” says the report. The most expensive is going to be a tobacco of A1 class for DEM 5 per kg, tobacco of B1 class for DEM 4,4 per kg and tobacco of B2 class for DEM 3,7 per kg. Tobacco of A2 class will cost DEM 2,8; tobacco of A3 class will cost DEM 2,2 per kg and tobacco of B3 class for DEM 2,1 per kg. Considerably lower prices are of A4 class tobacco DEM 1,8 per kg, B4 class tobacco DEM 1,6 per kg and A6 class tobacco for DEM 0,4 per kg and mildew DEM 0,3 per kg. “The premiums of 50% for tobacco of class A1, A2, B1 and B2 provided by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water and the Tobacco Factory from Podgorica, are included in the tobacco prices” it is written in the report. The report says that 190,000 kg of tobacco will be purchased this year. That’s 46% more than last year. The money from the tobacco purchase will be paid out 30 days after the delivery of tobacco, and terms of payment can be postponed only in the case of exchange of DEM for EURO. All tobacco producers will be informed in time about the exact raw materials and tobacco delivery’s conditions. af/bd
