Tivat (MINA-BUSINESS) - An association for restitution of the island of Sveti Marko near Tivat accused Belgrade Tourist company Putnik of causing a loss of at least 74 million U.S. dollars to the island#s owners during its 30-year management of it. The association was set up by some 150 former owners of the island which was taken away from them in 1960. The owners were forced to sell their land on the island for eight German marks per square metre and Putnik paid less than one million dollars for it while it had an annual revenue of 5.0 million dollars, the association said in a statement.
