Average net wage in August was 215 DEM, and real wages were 0.7% higher, states the Institution for statistics. The lowest average wages of 42 DEM were in the fishery sector, and highest, 419 DEM in financial mediation. In comparison with July, wages were 3.4% higher in August. Real wages were increased for 0.7% because of the life expenditures increase of 2.7%.
