Real wages in Montenegro were seven percents lower in January than in December last year, because life expenditures were raised for 1.3 percents, states the Republic Institute for statistics.
Average net wage in January was 101.5 EUR, which is nine percents less than in December. Gross wage for January was about 166 ERUR, while last year it was about 176 EUR.
The greatest fall of real wages in January in comparison with those of December of 55 percents was recorded in the sector of production and supply of electricity, while it was 40 percents lower in education. The greatest raise in real wages was in the sector of engineering, about 75 percents, and in catering for more than 59 percents.
