Representatives of German Steelworks “ThyssenKrupp” which is the signee of the contract on cooperation with Austrian “Siemens” is to visit Montenegro next week in order to get information on opportunities for cooperation with local companies. According to the statement given from the representative office of “Siemens” in Podgorica, representatives of the two companies are interested for work in infrastructural and energetic projects in Montenegro. For that purpose, they are to visit the Railways of Montenegro, Coal Mine in Pljevlja, Bauxite Mine in Niksic, the Port of Bar, and special negotiations are to be organized with representatives of the Steelworks from Niksic. Chief of the representative office of “Siemens” in Podgorica, Karl Woelk, said that representatives of the two companies that work together could make faster the implementation of present projects and initiate the new ones. “Interest and opinion of this delegation can positively affect decisions of donators in Brussels. That is why this visit is of great importance for Montenegro,” said Woelk for Montena-business. He said that “Siemens” representatives from Vienna in charge of automatization and industrial systems recently visited representatives of Montenegrin municipalities. Woelk said that these representatives met with representatives of the municipalities of Podgorica, Niksic and Bijelo Polje for the first time and expressed interest for work in projects for the Northern part of Montenegro.
