The workers of the company Gradjevinsko Crna Gora shall block the road Niksic – Podgorica next Thursday in case their problems were not solved by that time. The workers continued with their hunger strike today, since none of their requests have been met. They are locked in the premises of the company and are waiting for the final solution to the problem. “In case our problems were not solved by Thursday, we shall block the road Niksic – Podgorica,” Mirceta Mikic, the leader of the Board of Strike of the company has told a press conference today. The workers of the company went on strike a month ago, and they were on hunger strike for ten days. They request payment of their wages, return of mechanization into the company and establishing of a state committee for review of business activities in the past few years. The workers also asked why had nobody come to control the situation in the company since the beginning of the strike. The representatives of the workers, management, the Government, the Confederation of Trade Unions of Montenegro and the local administration should have continued the negotiations on solving of the problems of the company last Thursday. However, the meeting did not take place because representatives of the Government and SSCG did not come.
