Serbian proposal on airports till the end of the week

Serbian proposal on airports till the end of the week
Ministry of traffic of the Republic of Serbia would direct the proposal for solution of ownership over airports in Tivat and Podgorica to Montenegrin counterpart till the end of this week, said Marija Raseta Vukosavljevic, Serbian minister of traffic for the daily "Glas javnosti". "Proposal of the Government of Serbia that requests the payment of estimated value of these two airports from Montenegro would be directed to Montenegrin Ministry of traffic till the end of this week," announced Mrs. Raseta Vukosavljevic. Montenegrin Ministry of traffic proposed the joint ownership over the two airports, but as Public Institution Airports of Montenegro as a major owner. "Our proposal is to constitute the Board of directors and management of the Public Institution together, but with Government of Montenegro being major owner of the airport on the basis of estimations," said Montenegrin minister of traffic, Jusuf Kalamperovic, but he did not want to comment the percentage of ownership that Montenegrin Government requested, because he agreed with Serbian colleagues not to state concrete sums for the public. Mrs. Raseta Vukosavljevic said that Serbian Government did not agree with any of Montenegrin proposals, that is, with joint management of airports and major ownership of Montenegro over them. The owner of the Airport in Tivat is JAT (Yugoslav Airlines), which also owns a part of the airport in Podgorica and its major owner is the Yugoslav Army. The estimated value of these two airports is 38 million USD, which is the sum that Serbian Government requests from Montenegro. Estimations of Montenegrin Ministry do not match with Serbia, since they are 4,5 million USD.
