Bijela (MINA-BUSINESS) – The shipyard Jadransko Brodogradiliste Bijela will celebrate its 75th anniversary on Friday and hold a ceremonial session of its managing board at the Plaza hotel in Herceg Novi. Beside financial results of the shipyard, the managing board will also be presented a project of the restructuring of the company. The restructuring programme will be the ground for the privatisation of the shipyard, worked out together with experts of the School of Economy in Podgorica. The shipyard, employing 823 workers, had 30 million German mark revenue in 2001 or 30 percent more than planned. It overhauled 62 ships, 55 of which were foreign vessels. The net wage rose last year 65 percent and an average wage stood at 483 German marks.
