Ministry of tourism registered 36 thousand overnights of domestic and foreign tourists in December last year that is by 35% less then in the same period of 2000. According to data of this ministry there was 56 overnight realized in January or by 19% less then during the same month last year. Tourists who visited Montenegro during December of last and during January of this year realized over 92 thousand overnights. Domestic tourists realized 79 overnights while foreign tourist realized 14 thousand overnights during that period. The biggest number of overnights or over 23 thousand in December of last and January of this year were marked in Herceg Novi while there were 9,5 thousand overnights registered in winter tourist center Zabljak and 4,5 thousand overnights in Kolasin.
