Stopping of gray economy or general strike
Independent trade union of highway traffic of Montenegro announced a general strike of the firms that transported passengers in case till mid of March there were no more significant results in stopping the gray economy in this sphere. "If the coordinated activities of Ministry of maritime and traffic, ministry of interiors,, traffic, financial and work inspections, as well as municipal organs did not reduce the illegal competition in the sphere of passengers transport we shall propose to trade union organizations of transporters to go on general strike", said president of the Independent trade union of highway traffic Miodrag Bulatovic for Montena business. After today#s session of the trade union he said that this organization decided its representatives to join the working group of Chamber of commerce of Montenegro that would propose to Government a special regulation or some other sub-legal act for defining the kind of vehicle that could transport passengers. "We concluded it was necessary to work on this regulation since the ray economy is currently most present in highway traffic. The trade union has been for two years is struggling against van-taxi-transport on established route and against the unregistered taxis but we still have achieved no significant results", said Bualtovic.
