Strategic investors are missing

Strategic investors are missing
Belgrade (MINA-BUSINESS) – Vice-chairman of the Privatisation Council Veselin Vukotic said that it would be wrong to insist on a quick privatisation of the Montenegrin economy, because there are no strategic investors, Belgrade daily Glas Javnosti reported. Vukotic said that Telekom Crna Gora, the value of which was estimated at around 200 million euros, and the mobile operator Monet, could be sold together. The tender for the sale of Telekom was first launched last year, but due to no buying interest, it has been extended until the end of June. "It turned out that it is very difficult to find a cash-loaded strategic investor. We are all talking about a need for a fast privatisation, but that is wrong, because it turns out that someone needs to come to solve our problems," Vukotic said.
