Secretariat for development will initiate working on strategy of informative and communication technology until 2005, has been decided at today#s session of the government. Secretary of Secretariat for development Dusan Simonovic has said that this project will precisely define obligations of the competent state subjects that will conduct it due to former insufficient synchronization in work. HE has also said that the Government also passed a special conclusion by which the Government wants to instigate foreign donors and banks to help citizens in acquisition of computers. The Government in February decided to reduce sales tax for computers and accompanying equipment for physical persons from 24 to 3%, prolonging for six months campaign called "Year of computer culture".
