Workers of the Factory of light and protective clothes, who have been striking for more than a month, negotiate today with representatives of the Municipality of Niksic, said one of the strikers for Montena-business. "We planned to organize the protest in front of the building of the Municipality, but its officers invited us for a talk," said the source of Montena-business, adding that the announced protest in front of the Government#s headquarters was uncertain for the moment. Workers of the Factory request urgent receipt of guaranteed wages for the whole of last year, but at the recent meeting, they also requested the money obtained from the sale of land, which had been a joined property of the factory and Koni garment industry, be invested in continuance of production. Sale of the property was scheduled for February 11, and after that date the workers would request investment of one part of the money into production. In case Koni received a certain amount of money from this sale, workers of the Factory announced they would officially request merging with this company from Niksic. Meeting of workers and municipality representatives is still in progress.
