Director of the Agency for anticorruption Veselin Sukovic announced cooperation with non-governmental sector in the struggle against corruption and new approach to solution of this problem.
“We intend to include NGO sector, media, civil society, state institutions and political parties in our activities in order to create better legal conditions for elimination of corruption,” said Sukovic.
He said that negotiations on joint making of the future legal infrastructure with the Centre for transition in Montenegro were underway.
Sukovic announced that in July and August the delegation of Stability Pact Anticorruption Initiative (SPAI) would visit Montenegro in order to define the needs of the states for financing of the project in this field.
Sukovic said that present priorities of the Agency were making of the legal document on anticorruption activities and ethic codex for administration employees.
“We expect Stability Pact to finance the making of these laws, because it is only the sum of 100,000 USD,” said Sukovic.
He claimed that Montenegro went farthest of all region states in making of anticorruption laws and that at the meeting of the Management Committee for anticorruption in Tirana those efforts were considered positive.
