The lead and zinc mine, Suplja Stijena, that is formally still the part of the Complex Trepca (Kosovo) could operate individually and successfully, published the daily "Publika". Head of project bureau of the Coal Mine, Radomir Klacar, said that 11.7 million tons of reserves of ore was #authorised# in August 1996, and 2.7 million tons were projected for exploitation. Klacar said that in plans of that period of time annual production in Suplja Stijena should have been 200,000 tons, but it was estimated that the future of the mine would be uncertain if system for pre-concentration were not installed.
