In the first two months of this year, the surplus in the exchange of goods in Montenegro was 11 million 728 thousands dollars, and the rate of import-export coverage is 146%. During the previous month this year, goods worth 5 million 723 thousands dollars were imported, which is 74% less then the last year. Goods worth 8 million 450 thousands dollars were exported, which is 12.4% less that the same period last year. The total export for the first two months this year is 36 million 996 thousands dollars, i.e. 33.4% more than the same period last year. The total import for January and February is 25 million 268 thousands dollars i.e. 45.3% less than in these two months last year. Out of the overall goods exchange, 77.1% was realized with developed countries, 19.4% with the countries in transition, and 3.5% with developing countries. Compared with the same period of time last year, the export with developed countries this year went up for 24.2%. The import from these countries, in the same period went down for 43.2%.
