The Railways of Montenegro announced an international tender for financing and overhaul, electrification and equipping of the railway Podgorica - Niksic that would be closed on September 24 at 2 p.m. Project of reconstruction and modernization of the railway Niksic - Podgorica was made 14 years ago, and the estimated cost is about 57 million USD. Reconstruction would last up to nine months from the day of beginning of works that are planned for this autumn. Offers received for this tender would be publicly opened on September 25 in the Railway administrative centre.
