Pljevlja, (Montena-business)- The Pljevaljska Bank expects to get a working permission, after it gave all necessary documentation to the Central Bank of Montenegro (CBMN), with respect of the Law on Banks.
The secretary of the general director, Milorad Lakovic, said to Montena-business that the bank had provided the risk part of the founding capital of DEM 5 million and that the bank had adapted it#s work to the new bank regulations.
"We expect that the CBMN will give the working permission to the bank and that we will continue to offer services to the citizens, since we did it from the begging" said Lakovic.
The CBMN approved working permissions to four Montenegrin banks according to the Law on banks, which was adopted in November last year, and the term for correction of given documentation by other seven banks was over on 11 November.
The director of CBMN, Milojica Dakic, told to Vijesti daily from Podgorica, that by middle of November, it will be decided about the future of financial institutions, but the monetary authorities had no announcement considering this issue.
"Except the minimal amount of DEM 5 million of founding capital paid to the account of CBMN, the Pljevaljska Bank had to provide the contact on founding the bank, statute proposal, information about working qualifications, working experience and the properties of the members of the Bank#s board, about rating of shareholders and controllers, technical and personal working abilities, and about the business plan for next three years" said Lakovic.
The new capital was provided by the emission of 35,000 shares, whose nominal value is DEM 100. 26 companies from Pljevlja and Zabljak bought the shares, and 20 of them are new shareholders. Pljevaljska Bank now has 60 shareholders.
