Podgorica, (Montena-business)- The Traffic Secretariat (TS) is not satisfied with the cooperation with market inspection, regarding prevention of illegal transport of passengers, because of the inspection’s insufficient involvement” said the secretary of TS, Momir Skopelja to Montena-business. “The inspectors showed their good will regarding this cooperation, but they haven’t involved sufficiently in reducing the number of irregular taxi drivers” said Skopelja. According to Skopelja, the TS is helped at this field by the traffic police, and the results of their cooperation is good. “The number of irregular taxi cars is reduced significantly, and every day’s passengers can see it” claims Skopelja. “The new regulation of the taxi-transport, which should be adopted at the next municipal assembly meeting, predicts mandate punishments for the illegal transporters” claims Skopelja. “The purpose of this punishment is to help the solution of this problem” said Skopelja. ”The mandated punishment should be paid directly, and it should be about DEM 400 or 5 minimal salaries. af/bd
