German Government approved 2,5 million EUR through KFW from Frankfurt for construction of the third lane on the road route Mojkovac - Bijelo Polje, has been announced today by Montenegrin minister of maritime and traffic Jusuf Kalamperovic. "This donation shows that we are still getting international aid since German Government, together with European agency for reconstruction and European investment bank, has so far provided approximately 30 million EUR for reconstruction of Montenegrin roads", said Kalamperovic after the session of the Government. He said that part of the project had already been finished that is, gliding Rogov krs had been put on sound basses well as well as gliding near Bar and the rest of the road was in phase of construction or in phase of selecting the contractors. According to him, foreign donors decide on which roads will be reconstructed as well as on who the contractor will be. "Montenegrin roads will be a big building site during this year and realization of this project would not be possible without this aid. We shall have many problems since we have to provide normal functioning of traffic during the tourist season", says Kalamperovic.
