Director of the Centre for Transition, Nebojsa Medojevic, requests responsibility of the members of the Council for privatization because of the methods applied in registration in the central register of shares and requests postponement of the third phase of MVP. “All members of the council for privatization should resign because they showed their incompetence in work. Registering of the shares should have been done much earlier, and force the companies to do that, so we would not have the situation that only 22 companies are registered in the Central register,“ said Medojevic for Montena business. He also said that the companies should be forced to register through blockade of their accounts. He said that the third phase of the MVP, which represented the purchase of shares of companies through vouchers must be postponed until all companies were included in the Central register of shares, because citizens would not know what they got and MVP system would break down. “When I talked about the Central register of shares in 1995, the Government laughed at me, and now the same people manage the project,” said Medojevic.
