According to the information of the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions of Montenegro, 36 companies were in general strike last year, and of that number nine companies suspended the decision on strike and then organized it again.
In the period from January to the mid-May, Municipal Transport Company, Agrotransport and Elastik Plastika from Podgorica and Brewery Trebjesa, Factory of light and protective clothes, Grazing and Nibus from Niksic were on strike.
Polipak, Forest Administration, "Spiro Dacic" and Imako from Bijelo Polje, Famod from Rozaje and Obod from Cetinje did not work in the same period, as well as employees in education.
The stoppage of work was also organized in "Prevoz" from Pljevlja, Zitoprodukt, radio Ozon from Kolasin, Bokeljka from Kotor, Local self-management from Berane, Stadion, PI Water-supply company from Budva.
Farmers association from Andrijevica and Wood-processing industry "Vukman Kruscic" from Mojkovac organized strike, too.
After this period, from May till the end of the year, these companies were jointed by Municipal company from Cetinje, Buteks from Podgorica, AD Lovcen, Crnagoraput and Elementary school "Pavle Rovinski".
Municipal Board of education from Berane also decided to organize the general strike as well as Primorka from Bar, Tara from Cetinje, Export bilje from Kotor, AD Bor from Plav, Factory of radiators from Danilovgrad, Sawmill "Brezna" from Pluzine and Konkol from Kolasin.
Workers of the company "Obod" from Cetinje decided to organize general strike on February 19 last year, and they concluded it on Marhc 29. It was continued again on May 11.
Companies in which the strike was organized twice last year are Elastik Plastika, Agrotransport, Municipal board of education, Stadion, Bokeljka, "Vukman Kruscic" and Farmers association.
