Situation in Corporation "Jakic" is alarming and because of lack of raw materials, production in all of its plants would stop, published the daily "Vijesti". In the letter that general director of the Corporation, Radosav Kovacevic, sent to minister of agriculture, Milutin Simovic, it said that all timber from all storehouses on the territory of the municipality of Pljevlja should be delivered in the Corporation in order to solve the problem. Kovacevic also said that the commission would estimate the quality of timber immediately. Kovacevic also said that the company was ready to pay 25 DEM per cubic meter in the form of concession reimbursement to the Directorate for forest and added that it would pay expenses for logging and transport of the timber to Forest company of Pljevlja right away, and pulpwood on the basis of previously agreed compensation contracts.
