Municipal trade union agency (MTUA) of Bar spent most of last year#s budget of 55 thousand DM for the salaries of the employed while more then third of that amount was given for material and traveling expenses, was announced at today#s session. Approximately 20 thousand DM was spent for disposable material, traveling and similar expenses since trade union of Bar is the only trade union in Montenegro that pays per diem payments to its members for coming to the sessions. One third of those expenses are expenses of representation and buffet and almost that much has been spent for paying telephone bills", was said at the session. By analyzing last year#s work representatives of the trade union of Bar concluded that the most significant activities were conducted on the terrain through immediate aid of trade union activists and organizations. They reminded about numerous examples of violation of workers# rights from alienating the property of minor stockholders to illegal market of work in privatized and state firms. It was concluded that the workers of "Primorka", "Izbor", "Bartranzit", "Barbilje" as well as workers of number of small firms, with the main offices out of Bar, had most objection to their employers last year. Trade Union estimated that the strike of educational workers in almost all schools in Bar did not have a political background estimating that not even one party could gather about 90% of the employed in the educational institutions.
