Trade Union of Clinical Center from Podgorica decided to prepare changes and supplement on the Collective contract since their material-social status was alarming, has been announced at today#s press conference of this organization. "It is necessary to define changes and supplements of the existing collective contract since passing of the new one would have to wait for the new Law on work and working relations to be put into effect and applied", claims the president of the Executive Board of the Trade Union of clinical center Ratko Vukcevic. According to him, the trade union asked for replacement of the president of republic trade union of health and social protection Miroslav Maric and that was why he asked from all the branches of the trade union to vote on non-confidence in the president. "When we asked for increase of price of work for October, trade union of health rejected the idea on going on general strike and they did not even try to help health workers in improving their standard of living after the price of products and Services had been increased", explained Vukcevic. He has repeated that the health workers did not intend to go on general strike in case their coefficient was not increased since they did not consider it the best solution for their problems adding that was why decided upon negotiating to the government.
