Nikšic, (Montena-business) - Training for investment managers and brokers for about 20 employees of public companies in Niksic and for students of the Faculty of Economy started yesterday in Niksic and would last for two days. The training was organised by the Centre for Entrepreneurship and American Agency USAID. "Since the process of Mass Voucher Privatisation completely changed the ownership structure in Montenegro, it is necessary to provide quality cadre that would manage the newly formed stock market" said Mr. Veselin Vukotic, vice-president of the Privatisation Council, who is also one of the lecturers. According to Mr. Vukotic, 150 young people were trained as brokers in Montenegro, and thus the preconditions for functioning of Montenegrin stock market were fulfilled. "The licences for investment managers and brokers are not related only to the Montenegrin stock market, but to the whole process of selling and buying shares," said Mr. Vukotic. The representatives of the Municipality of Niksic will also participate in the seminar, which is to continue its work today. rm/km
