Niksic (MINA-BUSINESS) - Workers at the Trebjesa brewery will launch a general strike on Monday at 0730 local time after the management refused to sign a collective agreement that would allow an increase in salaries. The workers said the wage demand was supported by a higher beer production. The management had said that in the case of a general strike, there would be no work, no sale, no wages and a 13th salary and a bonus would be lost, as well as the dividend, and that in the worst case scenario, the brewery could be closed. The average April salary at the brewery stood at 395 euros and was among the highest in both Serbia and Montenegro.
