Construction of Union bridge on the river Moraca will be finished till 23 April next year, just like it was planned, has been announced today by the engineer of Fund for city construction grounds Nikola Rakocevic. "Dynamics and quality of so far realized works are very good and we expect it to continue that way even though it primarily depends on weather conditions and level of the river Moraca", said Rakocevic. Representative of contractor Integral engineering Branisa Pilindavic has said that over 70% of the preparation works for construction of bridge support has been finished. "Construction of riverbank supports on the left side of the river Moraca has been finished while the works on the right side are still in progress", said Pilindavic. Representative of the European agency for reconstruction (EAR) Nil Boland is satisfied with dynamic of works on construction of bridge estimating that it is expected those works to intensify in months that are to come. "Cooperation of contractor, fund for city construction grounds and Faculty of civil Engineering from Podgorica influenced achieving of good result", claims Boland. According to him, construction works are progressing well even on other EAR projects like for example on reconstruction of roads as well as works on primary school on Zlatica. Construction of Union Bridge is financed by EAR, Montenegrin Government, Municipal assembly of Podgorica and Fund for city construction grounds.
