Veletex’s income increased by 40% comparing to last year’s statistics
Podgorica, (Montena-business) - The Veletex Company from Podgorica which does retail and wholesale business, bought this year a warehouse space of 1,000 m2 and a business space of 300 m2 which will be used for the specialised turnover of fresh fruits and vegetables that were planned to be exported. “The income of the company for the first 10 months this year is about DEM 5 million which is an increase of 40% comparing to the same period of the last year” said the director of Veletex, Vlastimir Golubovic. “The turnover of the food for final users, such as the Houses of Pupils in Podgorica and Kotor, the Hospital in Cetinje, the Plantaze AD, the Pljevlja’s Coal Mining and the Holiday building in Ulcinj, represents 80% of all company’s business” said Golubovic. “Veletex has a cooled warehouse space of 500 m2, two retail shops for selling fresh meat, fish and meat and milk products, and a retail shop for selling goods of wide use. The company’s car park consists of three cooling trucks and one combined car” said Golubovic. “The company’s supplies are worth DEM 300.000, and that is the guarantee of the company’s quality” told Golubovic to Montena-business. Veletex is at the 32nd place of the Rating List of the most profitable companies in Montenegro and it employs 25 workers. The company orders goods from producers in Serbia and Montenegro, and from direct importers who get the goods from Hungary and Italy. ”Veletex was founded 17 January 1992, and for ten years of work, the company had only two claims that had to be collected after a trial process. And we have claims of 90 days” said Golubovic. “The company regularly pays all obligations towards the State and supports the program preventing the ‘black economy’ “ added Golubovic. “From October 1999, Veletex holds 78% of the shares in Agroexport Company from Bar, and has three retail shops in Bar, Sutomore and Petrovac, and a custom’s warehouse of 600 m2 in old Bar. av/bd
