London (MINA-BUSINESS) - One of the leading international mobile phone operators Vodafone has been in talks with Promonte, the owners of one Montenegrin mobile phone network, on a purchase of a majority stake in the company, Vijesti daily said. The talks should be completed within a month. If the outcome is successful, the purchase would become the largest single investment in Montenegro, since the value of Promonte is estimated at around 100 million euros. Promonte was set up in 1996 by Norwegian and Greek operators. Vodafone has shares in mobile phone companies in 28 countries and all five continents.
