The Law on banks is good, but as director of Euromarket bank, Branimir Pajkovic said, the question is how it would be implemented, published the daily "Dan". "We are of the opinion that it is not good that banks that obtain the licence are classified in banks A and B, since it is not stated in the regulations and it is not right. Market for this number of banks can be too small only if mistakes are made in licensing and if we creatively interpret the Law," said Pajkovic. Pajkovic said that credits given by Euromarket bank were not expensive, since official inflation in Montenegro last year was 23 percents, so the bank practically operated with negative interest rates. "We cannot solve the problem of inflation with Euro if we are financially undisciplined. You do not print the Euro, but you can emit it in a thousand ways. Therefore, as long as we are emitting Euro, as long as we import the price inflation by increasing spreads, the inflation tendencies would be present," said Pajkovic.
