Nikšic, (Montena-business) - As of tomorrow, the Electric-power Industry of Montenegro (EPCG) will suspend the restrictions of electrical energy for households, and begin gradual suspension of restrictions for the companies and factories, it has been stated at today#s press conference. Acting general director of EPCG, Mr. Radomir Milovic, said that electro-energetic balance for February was agreed at today#s meeting of the Coordination Organ for monitoring of electro-energetic situation, where minister of economy, Mr. Darko Uskokovic, participated. "According to the plan for February, Hydro-Electric power plant #Perucica# will produce about 2 million kWh of electricity per day, Thermo-Electric power plant #Pljevlja# will produce 3,5 million kWh, while 4 million kWh will be taken from Electric Power Industry of Serbia, in line with the long-term contract on exchange of electricity. Recently, the daily import of 1,5 million kWh of electricity from Bulgaria has been agreed," said Mr. Milovic, adding that the worth of this contract is 1,7 million Euro. According to Mr. Milovic, the EPCG plans to collect about 8,8 million of Euro from the households in February. He appeals on rational use of electricity and timely payment of bills. Mr. Milovic claims that TE #Pljevlja# operates excellently and that its present coal reserves are about 18,000 tons. "As temperatures increased, the consumption of electrical energy was reduced, in comparison to the last few days, and yesterday it was about 12 million kilo-Watt hours" said Mr. Milovic at today#s press conference. rm/dc/km
