Herceg Novi,(Montena-business) – The Association of Employed Women in the Montenegrin Trade Union will next year provide informatics and English courses for its members and restart projects called ‘Women can make it’ and ‘Women in politics’, said Rosa Popovic, the organization’s president to Montena-business. ”The educational projects, whose realisation will start in January, are planned to found women’s sections in all municipal Union offices. Unfortunately, those activities are disturbed by political separations” said Popovic. Popovic added that the Association would apply with the project for female health care preventing breast and maternity organ’s cancer financed by the Montenegrin Government, and would also apply for getting free medical check on appointed days. ”Our aim is to protect employed women, to support their active role in the Union, transformation and democratisation of the Trade Union” said Popovic. Popovic said that a very small number of people was organized in the Union, which told all about the need to reform the Union. Popovic claims that the organization she runs can give help to its members by giving legal advices, by influencing on the State when approving self-employment credits and by solving social matters. All these activities should create more interest in the Union’s matters.
