Workers of the Holding Industry #Obod# decided at today#s meeting to support election of Pero Vuckovic, director of the Factory of ledomats, for the function of acting general manager of the Holding, said president of the company#s union, Vojo Vujovic. He said for Montena-business that production in factories was more important for workers than who would be the first man of the company. "It is not important who would be general director, so that is the reason why we would not oppose the election of Vuckovic for that function. What is of crucial importance is beginning of production," said Vujovic. He also said that president of the Board of directors of Obod, Milutin Ostojic and acting director of New Obod, Zoran Duletic, recently promised that 700-800 workers of this company would soon start working. Vujovic also said that the revitalization plan included restarting of production in factory of washing machines, horizontal freezers and standard refrigerators, and then in factories of combined refrigerators and lighting. He also said that the sixth factory was planned in the Holding, which would produce engines.
