Niksic (MINA-BUSINESS) - Workers at the Trebjesa brewery in Niksic will decide on Monday whether to end their strike, choosing either the management#s call on them to save their jobs or trade union#s demand to continue the protest. The production was halted last Monday due to year-long dispute over the signing of a collective agreement. While the management appealed to workers to think about their and the future of their families, the trade union insists on continued protest until their demands for higher salaries and company financing of the workers# organisation are met. Trebjesa is majority owned by Belgian Interbrew, The management said it would start sacking workers if they did not resume work on Monday.
