Yugoslav April inflation 0.9 percent
Podgorica (MINA-BUSINESS) – April inflation in Yugoslavia, according to the Federal statistics bureau, was 0.9 percent, while the cost of living rose 0.8 percent. Retail prices in Serbia rose 0.9 percent while according to the Montenegrin statistics office, inflation in Montenegro stood at 1.6 percent. The cost of living rose 0.6 percent in Serbia and 2.0 percent in Montenegro. Since the beginning of the year, Yugoslav retail prices rose 3.4 percent, while year-on-year inflation stood at 26.7 percent.
