The plant for grain processing “Zitopromet” from Spuz, near Podgorica, signed a few days ago the contract on representation of the Austrian company “Diamant”, one of the largest European producers of additives, instant mixtures and concentrates used in baking industry.
On this occasion, “Zitopromet” is to make presentation of “Diamant” products tomorrow in “Inpek” bakery in Podgorica, and the day after tomorrow in Budva, in the bakery “Orbis”.
Manager of the marketing, Dragan Perovic, said that “Diamant” had so far had representative office for Yugoslavia, and since the contract with “Zitopromet” was signed, the first representative office for Montenegro was established.
“Our clients would be able to find in one place all necessary additives of “Diamant” except flour, and thus we have filled our offer of products for bakeries,” said Perovic.
The company announced that presentations would be organized for local bakeries and pastry-shops and “Diamant” chef, Peter Sikora, would lead them.
“Zitopromet” was founded in 1948 as continuance of tradition of local watermills that were about 50 on the river of Zeta. Now, it is a private joint stock company.
